Dr Fred Rademeyer
M.Tech (Chiro) – University of Johannesburg | ICCSP | MCASA
Dr Fred Rademeyer earned his Master’s Degree in Chiropractic from the University of Johannesburg in 2013. As part of his postgraduate studies, he completed his thesis on “The Efficacy of Inversion Therapy on Patients with Mechanical Lower Back Pain.”
Although Fred started his journey towards becoming a chiropractor later in life, he has never looked back. His passion for chiropractic and his commitment to continuous learning have shaped the way he approaches each patient and every clinical challenge.
In March 2014, Dr Rademeyer joined Randpark Ridge Family Chiropractic Clinic, where he has had the privilege of working as part of a well-established and respected team. Over the years, this experience has allowed him to treat a wide range of patients and develop a practical, patient-centred approach to care.
A Patient-Centred Approach
Fred enjoys treating people from all walks of life who want to move better, feel better and function at their best.
He has a particular interest in back and neck pain, sports injuries, shoulder and hip dysfunction, as well as helping active individuals return to the activities they enjoy.
His approach combines chiropractic care, functional assessment, education, rehabilitation and specific exercises. Each patient receives an individualised assessment and treatment plan based on their presentation, goals and lifestyle.
Initial consultations are approximately 60 minutes, allowing time for a thorough assessment, discussion and appropriate treatment. Follow-up consultations are approximately 30 minutes, with treatment and rehabilitation adapted according to the patient's progress.
Treatment may include a combination of chiropractic adjustments, soft-tissue techniques, neuromuscular techniques, functional rehabilitation and activity-specific exercises.
The aim is not simply to provide short-term relief, but to help patients understand their condition, improve their function and develop practical strategies to support long-term health and activity.
Beyond the Clinic
Outside of chiropractic, Fred is a family man. He has been happily married to his wife, Karmi, for 12 years, and together they have two young sons who keep life fun, active and busy.
He considers it a privilege to work with people at different stages of life and to be part of their journey towards better health and function.
“If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s the value the chiropractic profession can bring to people’s lives. I look forward to bringing that same value to yours.”
